PODIUM IN HALIFAX!  MAY 15-18 2014...Be ready for amazing things!

Spring Sing Event for All!  CHORALIES 2013!!   

In celebration of their 40th Anniversary, l'ensemble vocal Les Voix d'Acadie, in collaboration with the Nova Scotia Choral Federation, will present the First Francophone Choralies in Nova Scotia from June 21st to 23rd 2013.

All singers are welcome! Singers will work with three renowned francophone choral conductors from New Brunswick and Quebec, and learn nine songs of the French repertoire of various musical styles as well as a brand new commission by Donald Patriquin!  Instruction will be both in French and English.

Don't miss this fantastic weekend singing event (with food and fun thrown in too of course)!

Halifax Summer Choral Conducting Symposium July 10-13, 2013

Designed for music educators and professionals of all levels, this four-day summer workshop offers practical instruction in choral conducting, vocal pedagogy, rehearsal techniques and Dalcroze Eurhythmics.  Participate as an active or an auditing conductor, or join the Symposium Chorus!  2013 repertoire is Vivaldi Gloria.  Join the participants of the HSCCS in a performance, Saturday, July 13 at 4pm at Bethany United Church!

The ACCC, with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts and in collaboration with CBC Music, is pleased to announce the 2013 National Competition for Canadian Amateur Choirs.  If you are a member of your provincial choral organization, you are eligible to enter this prestigious national competition.
